Questions about a wierd flying bug.?

Okay so yesterday I saw this wierd bug with a regular fly, I don't know if they were mating or if the thing on top of it was sucking it's blood. The bug on top of the fly, was long, furry, and fatter then a mosquito, and had a long stinger on it's "butt" It also had a long needle looking thing out of it's mouth and it penetrated the regular fly, when I looked at it closely, so it looked like it was eating the fly. But I have seen these bugs before, but I have no idea what it is. I thought maybe a crane fly, but do crane flys eat regular flies, it was either eating it or mating with it, but more likely it was eating it when I saw that needle out of it's mouth. He said it's possible I have epilepsy, but he can't diagnose it unless it happens again or something. Within the past week, I keep zoning out for a few seconds and then not remembering anything after. And normally when I pass out, I'm alone, so is it possible I have seizures without even realizing it! I'll wake up in the weirdest positions, like with my knees up to my chest, or my entire body sprawled out. It's scary. I go back to the dr in a few days, but I want to know if number one it's possible these are seizures, and if numbe 2, there's a cure. Right Before this happens, my vision gets all blurry, and my head hurts horribly. It feels like my entire body goes numb, and I get this weird feeling of like deja vu I guess. Like i know what will happen next, and like its all happened before, but I can't put my finger on it. Then it seems like everything's in slow motion, and I get rly anxious and scarred. Idk why that happens. I'm more worried what will happen at my band practices in august. We have to go for 4 hour everyday for 2 weeks. Me and my sister found 2 twin baby sandhill cranes today they looked about a week or so old. Where they came from was a field that got tilde yesterday so we are guessing there habitat got ruined and they got separated from there mother. We were going to just leave them be but we got scared cause we have a lot of big dogs around the neighbor hood so we decided to catch them (with care of course) and call a wildlife center. They told us to bring them in so we drove 30 miles in rush hour traffic to bring them in and when we got there they asked us if we could possibly bring them back if there are still cranes around (we heard only one when we got the babies so it was a 50/50 chance) so doing anything for these babies we decided to bring them back and let them go where they came from and just hope for the best!! We are going to check on them tomorrow and see if they made it or not ( i sure hope they make it and are okay) but my main question is what are some reasons that baby sandhill cranes leave there mothers and run around?? Do you think we did the right thing about bringing them back or should we have left them at the wildlife center?? I only want whats best for those cute little birds!!! I think your best bet is to go to a stained glass store and see what kinds you have, how much they're worth, and go from there. I used to do a lot of stained glass and kept small pieces around for a while but rarely found any of them useful. Fiddling around cutting tiny pieces from merely small pieces takes time.

Yesterday my doctor cancelled the steroids. Is there anything I can do to prevent these recurrences? What I should or should not do?

Camera too heavy for jib crane?

Hi, I just bought a 12 foot tommy jib crane, for my cannon x1-h1, I also bought a pan and tilt motor that you put on top of the camera mount at the end of the jib and then add your camera on top of your motor mount. This thing is really heavy now, I have to use 40 lbs for a counter weight. On top of that all the weight is making the jib slanted and shooting crooked. So I took off the motor head and just left the camera on there, and it help a bit, but its still crooked. Is there any fix for this other than buying a more expensive stronger jib crane? It shoots great and I know I can fix the video in post, but it just bothers me. Any help?

I believe the ship you are talking about is used to carry very tall cargo and still be able to pass under the bridge. I have seen a ship there that was carrying very tall cranes of the type used to unload ships. A normal height ship would not pass under the bridge with those cranes. Some of those ships can actually lower themselves deeper into the water by flooding and have floating cargo (other ships or oil rigs, etc) float over the cargo area into position and then the ship will pump out the water and rise under the cargo lifting it free of the water.

Ok, so I have a friend and she has been admiring this guy from a far, I guess you could say, for about 3 years now. She finally got the guts up to talk to him and they kind of hit it off. They've been "talking" for a few months now and he has made her cry a few times, he has led her on that he wants a relationship and then let her down by saying that he has no interest in her, then flirt and tell her she's gorgeous again the next. See, he has low self-esteem. His step brother is in the same grade and is probably the most popular guy in the school. He is cute, and nice, he's just not his brother. So recently, she has been messing with him and it started off her being like "lets see how he likes being led on." Now it has progressed to raunchy messages, I guess sexting? No pics but they talk like they're gonna do it soon, and she'll tell me about it and stuff. I freak of course, as a best friend because she has not had slutty behavior in the past, he is bringing this out of her and any outsider can see that they're relationship is not healthy. SO she reassures me that she would never do it with him, because she doesn't know him that well. Then she asks me questions like "what if we did?" and say stuff like "but he says he'll go easy on me..." (she is a virgin). Usually when she proposes things like this surrounding an idea it means that she is actually gonna go through with it. So now, it looks to me like it is gonna happen. I can see whats going to come of this already: girl gives it up to boy, boy never calls back (Because he already told her he did not want a relationship), fights arise, girl is a blubbering mess to best friend (me), whom she expects to pick up the pieces, and I do that by blowing his brains out (Kidding!). Kidding about the last step. Anyways. She is not dumb, she is a very intellectual and amazing young woman. She needs better than this. Before she met him we both shared the idea to be in love before losing our virginities and now it looks like she's gonna give it up to a guy she's shared a single trip to the park with, walking after one class with, and sharing text messages for 3 months. Maybe she needs to get hurt so she'll learn and it won't happen again, but I want to prevent that to the best of my abilities. She also doesn't spend much time with him, actually none now that schools out. Just texting. So I am very afraid that if she tries to go somewhere with him and reveals that she was just teasing him, she could get raped. Please help me knock some sense into my best friend before she hurts herself so blindly. Last thing, she just turned 16, he is 17. I am 16 (if it matters). Please help!! Why is my facebook page "unresponsive" and how do I fix it?

Whenever I log on it works for a second or two on each page then freezes and doesn't let me scroll or click anything and my cursor stays the same, then after a minute or two, a chrome pop up appears and says the following page is unresponsive and gives me the option to wait or to kill it. I've tried a lot of things, I've refreshed relentlessly, I've cleared my cache, I've re-installed my browser even. I went on my friend's laptop and signed on there but to no avail, it did the same thing. I've been patient with my computer for the past day, but I am filling up with bottled, pure, rage. We have been living in a apt for 8 months now and we have been infested with roaches and now our couch has bedbugs! Our bed doesn't have them but I REALLY want to keep it that way. It is up on a frame and I have put vaseline around the wheels because I heard this prevents them from climbing up onto the bed. Math equation needed for complicated problem?

I am editing a movie with footage that was given to me. The audio is slightly slower than the visual and it is very long, so by the end the difference is quite severe. I need an equation to figure out by what % to increase it's speed. although I do not know if all will be needed in the equation the variables I have are: 1. the frames per second that the footage (v and a) is running at (it is the same for both v and a) 2. the length of the clip 3. how many frames the audio is behind at the end when aligned correctly at the beginning. (I already tried 102% and that extra 2% was a lot too much so it will most likely be a decimal number after 100%) So if you could send me an equation for that I can put in the numbers and solve it myself. Help! Something is wrong with my chicken.?

We've had our chicks (now chickens) for about 3 months now and they've been doing great. I went in to check on them a few minutes ago and one of them is kind of craning it's neck sideways (almost parallel to the ground at times. She can walk around but wants to lay down. It's like she's looking at me with one eye because maybe something is wrong with the other eye. The other eye looks fine except it seems to be blinking a little more often than the other. I don't see anything in it and it's not oozing anything or red or swollen. Should I just wait and see what happens or is it something more serious? She's always been a little smaller than the other chickens, sometimes they overpower her a little and she has a hard time ever getting to roost since the rest of them kind of hog it. Any answers out there? I'm worried about her.

Is the bathtub off level, or is the surround crooked?

Caulk is not waterproof so it may have come away from the wall during bathing etc even under steamy conditions. I would have used a proprietry filler. However, to see if it's level use a long level or fill the bath to a normal bathing level and measure the distance from the top of the water to the top of the bath. The measurement should be the same all the way around as water finds it's own even level. If the tub is not level you can do this by altering the feet below the bath as the bath stands on a metal stand or four metal feet which can be adjusted. If you are tiling then if the tiles do not fill in the gap between the wall and the bath skim this area with waterproof filler or plaster but make sure that they are level and even as tiles don't bend.

Whenever I plug it in to my computer with the USB or card reader, I get the message "No new pictures or videos were found" I dont have a extra computer to use. How do I fix this? Why does being in the sun cause nausea, dizzyness, and headaches?

I was in the sun walking around town with my friend. I bought big bottles of water from the store before we went walking and drank a second bottle while resting but still, I became nauseated and got a very bad headache that lasted a couple of hours. It always happens after I'm out in the sun no matter how hydrated I keep myself. Is there any other way to prevent this? I just set up my HD PVR from Hauppauge to record my Xbox 360 gameplay and the quality is amazing, but when I'm done recording and I go to see the recorded footage it zooms in on one point and everything on the side is lost. The Things They Carried! I can not stress enough how much I am in love with this book. I actually just finished reading it about a month ago and I'm about to start again. So I have just finished watching paranormal activity (I'm a little late I know lol). To be honest, I was really bored with the movie for the first hour or so, then I noticed that it got somewhat scary as time progressed, especially the ending. I can't even lie, the ending really freaked me out lol. I just didn't like the fact that the whole movie was set up as video footage. So for a couple of months I ate about 800-1000 calories and before these months I ate about 1800 calories. I understand that the body will go into starvation mode, and I began eating 1800 calories for about 1 month and a half again and now down to 1500 to prevent weight gain. Will my metabolism adjust to the 1500 calories, or will it reset itself back to the 1800 calories I used to have? I used to weigh 114 pounds at 4'11 and now i weigh 93 pounds.

I am already on week 4 but I am struggling so much on yoga and I still cannot do more than 4 push ups. That's how many I can do to failure. How pathetic! And I cannot for the life of me do shoulder stance or plow or crane! �And I am a bit better at balance but many moves I can't do without falling. I think it has to do with how much I weigh. About 160.. And I am short.. That's so disgusting I know. I am so sick of it. But still perhaps my expectations are too high. I am not going to quit because I have lost some weight. Not a lot. Maybe 4 pounds.. But after a whole month I expected like 7-8 pounds. I am really discouraged and sad about it. I just want to know if this amount of struggle is normal. I wanna be at 137 by day 90. I was also thinking sense I don't sweat as much as I did the first 2 times I did yoga if during this recovery week perhaps I could incorporate some ab ripper x every other day. Tips for getting rid of crane flies?

Ok so I kind of have a phobia of spiders and crane flies. I was told putting rosemary on the stairs and just general areas stops spiders from getting around because they flee from it, and it actually works.
