Can you use the EasyCAP AS-EZ-CAP1 USB Audio/Video to Digital PC Device for recording xbox 360 gameplay?

I have an AV cable and I was wondering if you could hook one side of the AV cable to your tv and the other side to the EasyCAP and record the footage live.
