Do you think this is a good b-day present for a friend?

She's turning 17 and i was thinking that tommorow i would go to the mall to buy her a gift...maybe like a pillow pet or something...and then i want to do something extra so i was thinking about folding her 100 paper cranes...actually 99 now since i gave her one in class..since her bday party is in 2 days...i cannot possible fold 1000 paper cranes but do you think that is still a good idea?
